Hello, my name is Awei, I am a lifelong Pacific Island waterman and California naturalist dedicated to connecting people to ecology through embodied storytelling.

  • I integrate multidisciplinary frameworks of breathwork, traditional chinese medicine concepts, and ecosomatics with creative play and naturalist guiding grounded in cultural ecology.

  • Outdoor: Freedive instructor, scuba instructor, dive master, amphibious outdoor guide, Interdisciplinary naturalist and ecological embodiment practitioner

    Field & Conservation: Mendocino kelp forest restoration, Catalina purple hydrocoral advocacy, indigenous ethnoecology studies in Taiwan & British Columbia, Baja CA shark research

    Safety & First Response: EMT & Rescue Swimmer, CPR & O2 Instructor
